About to ICPGD 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Petrochemical and Green Development (ICPGD 2026) will be held grandly in Wuhan, a scientific and educational hub in central China. This conference focuses on the green transformation and sustainable development path of the petrochemical industry, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, corporate executives, researchers, and representatives of environmental protection institutions in the fields of chemical engineering, petroleum refining, materials science, environmental engineering, energy technology, green chemistry, and industrial policy. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as energy-saving and emission reduction technologies in refining and chemical processes, development and efficient reaction processes of green catalysts, application of carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) in the petrochemical industry, substitution of bio based chemicals and degradable materials, integrated utilization of hydrogen and clean energy in petrochemical parks, resource utilization of petrochemical wastewater, waste gas and residue, optimization of the industrial chain under the circular economy model, intelligent and low-carbon operation management of petrochemical equipment, construction of environmental, social and governance (ESG) evaluation system, and the path to achieving the "dual carbon" goal in the petrochemical industry. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, and case studies, we aim to promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional petrochemical industry towards efficiency, cleanliness, and low-carbon direction. ICPGD 2026 emphasizes the development concept of "innovation driven and green led", committed to promoting breakthroughs in green chemical technology and integrating industrial practices, and helping to build a safe, environmentally friendly, and sustainable modern petrochemical industry system. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus to enhance academic influence.
Record
All full paper submissions to the ICPGD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICPGD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icpgd@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
